Getting There and Parking

By Car: Lacock Abbey is located in Wiltshire, near Chippenham. If traveling from London, take the M4 to Junction 17, then follow signs to Lacock. It’s about 20 minutes from Bath and 40 minutes from Bristol by car.

By Public Transport: The nearest train station is Chippenham, about 3 miles away. From there, take a short taxi ride or the 234 bus, which stops in Lacock village.

Parking: A designated National Trust car park is located a short walk from the abbey and village. Parking is free for National Trust members and costs a small fee for non-members. Arrive early during good weather, as it can get busy.
