Heddington, Summer Exhibition 2024
Introduction
This is something I went to last year not long after starting photography. I’ve been following the web site and was hopeful that they would have an exhibition this year. Last year I only found out about it a couple of days before it ended and wasn’t able to go back and retake some shots I got wrong.
There are indoor and outdoor exhibits all set in a very pretty house and gardens. It is a very nice way to spend a couple of hours thinking about something different. I particularly liked the deer and Owl sculptures. The hares were also very cool.
This year’s exhibition is running from May 25th to July 21st and is open to the public from Thursday to Sunday with free entry.

Photo Opportunity
The challenge here is to take a different picture without being able to reposition the subjects. On the whole I’ve gone with a close up setting so I can highlight the subject.
For these pictures I used the standard kit as it was the easiest and I didn’t need a large zoom. I’m planning to go back and use the 50mm lens so I give myself a different challenge and perhaps produce a better separation between subject and background.
